The museum displays many of Mr. Wynd’s childhood toys, some (but not all) are broken, including his dolls, toy soldiers, tin toys (those that his parents said were ‘too good to play with’ and were kept in their boxes), toy cars, a boat made of matchsticks with his grandfather, a model of a U-Boat. There are also displays of toys that Mr.Wynd would have liked to have as a child but could not afford and was not given that he later bought as an adult and rapidly tired of. Elsewhere is an extensive collection of extraordinarily sinister McDonald’s Happy Meal Toys.
