It was reading Leonora Carrington’s short stories as a teenager that first got Mr.Wynd excited again about the world of dreams, magic and fairy tales, not to mention art that was not immediately representational in a literal manner, we have a large collection of work by Leonora Carrington – some drawings should always be on display and mcuh by perhaps the greatest British Surrealists – Reuben Mednikoff and Grace Pailthorpe – look up at the ceiling, and a handful of work by Ithell Colquhoun
