Devil’s Botany Absinthe Regalis

£65.00

Devil’s Botany is London’s first Absinthe Distillery founded by Directors of The Last Tuesday Society’s cocktail bar.

Traditional, yet mysteriously exotic, the inspiration for Absinthe Regalis arises from a curious elixir unearthed from the recipe books of London’s 18th century apothecaries.

Description

DEVIL’S BOTANY
ABSINTHE REGALIS
63% ABV / 700ML

Devil’s Botany Absinthe Regalis is copper pot distilled with premium British wheat spirit and 22 botanicals sourced from around the world, including Grand Wormwood, Green Anise, Fennel Seed, Sage, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Cardamom, Galangal and Devil’s Claw Root.

TRADITIONAL, YET CURIOUSLY EXOTIC
Absinthe’s holy trinity of grand wormwood, green anise and sweet fennel is enlivened by warming spices such as nutmeg, cinnamon and cardamom—all once highly sought after symbols of luxury. Their natural sweetness is grounded by the earthy notes of exotic roots, including galangal and Devil’s claw, and consecrated by fragrant herbs such as sage. The resulting distillate is then coloured naturally in a second maceration process to achieve its emerald green hue from a new mix of botanicals, including white dead nettle and milk thistle which can be found growing wild throughout London.
