Reservations are strongly encouraged for cocktails in The Absinthe Parlour. If visiting the Museum of Curiosities, it is best to pre-book or plan to visit after your time with us in the bar area.

Under 18s are permitted in the venue before 5pm when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Dogs are not permitted in The Absinthe Parlour or Museum of Curiosities, but we do have a select few tables outside that can accommodate guests with their four legged friends.

Please note, our venue is sometimes hired out on weekdays for filming or private events. If travelling far, please ring 0208 533 5297 to check.

Admission to The Absinthe Parlour & Galleries is free. Admission to the Wunderkabinett it is £10 per person, or £6 for concessions, students or guests with a bar reservation.

THE ABSINTHE PARLOUR

A drinker’s cabinet of wonder filled with unusual spirits, from the old world and new, together in one curious exhibition of extraordinary elixirs. Allow each round to provide you with a passage to the furthest corners of the world, transported to an experience outside the boundaries of time.

Seek and you shall find: hidden here are explorations of alchemy & magick, pleasure & fantasy, celebrating the point at which curiosity unlocks a world unknown.

Adult Admission is £10.  Concessions £6.   Discounted Thursday Admission for All £4 – Only available for walk-ins.
1/ Please arrive within 15 minutes of your ticket time to avoid losing your space. Late arrivals cannot be guaranteed admission.
2/ Admission is for thirty minutes.
3/ Concession tickets are for those unable to afford full price, or students.
4/ Concession tickets are also available to people with pre-existing bar reservations from here. We advise you to visit the museum after you have had your drink as you will appreciate it more.
5/ Due to The Adult Nature of Some of the exhibits – Dead People / Erotica etc – under 18s are only allowed in when accompanied by a parent/guardian and before 5pm only.
6/ Admission includes a free cup of tea on request

Last admission to the Museum is at 10pm.

Online tickets are fully refundable up to 24 hours before, via Eventbrite, we regret that they can not be changed or refunded after this.

Please note Saturdays are our busiest day of the week. As the Museum has a very limited capacity, admission cannot be guaranteed for all guests upon arrival. We will do our very best to ensure a wonderful experience for all visitors. If visiting a Saturday, please plan to expect a wait. Reservations for a drink in our cocktail bar are strongly encouraged before your visit to the museum. Book your table here.

Accessibility

Entrance to the Museum requires descending down a steep spiral staircase. Due to the historic nature of our building, there is also limited accessibility to our main entrance/cocktail bar. If you have any questions regarding accessibility, please contact [email protected].
