Wild Alchemy: Astro-Botanical Remedies with Jemma Foster

In this illustrated talk, Jemma Foster will explore the wisdom of plants and planets through alchemical philosophy and practice, wildcrafting and remedy making. Jemma will also share ways to connect to the plants as divinatory guides. Discover where and when to forage, tips for preparing the wild plants and ways they can be used, allowing them to support and strengthen your mind, body and soul. This talk is a perfect event for witches, herbalists, alchemists, astrologers or for anyone who strives to be in harmony with nature and the cosmos.

Wild Alchemy Lab, an Astro-botanical Remedy Deck (published by Laurence King Publishing, June 2023) is the first Oracle Deck of its kind. Each of the 52 cards in the deck features a wild plant, beautifully illustrated by Raxenne Maniquiz, and accompanied by its astrological and alchemical correspondences. The back of the card features a brief description of the plant, some context from history and mythology, and a recipe for a medicinal or culinary use of the plant.
