This allowed him to dive deeper into the art of film photography, developing and printing his own work, and honing his skills in a self-made creative space. It was Jerry’s father who recognized his talent and gifted him his first SLR camera, a Fujifilm STX2, marking the beginning of a lifelong love affair with photography. Soon, he started working for a local newspaper, covering community events through his lens. Throughout his life, Jerry remained fascinated by photography, he found solace and inspiration in capturing the world around him through his camera. Some years later Jerry evolved into a seasoned mountaineer, embarking on adventures that took him from Canada to South America. Throughout his travels, the camera remained a steadfast companion, capturing the natural world and the human spirit in its most authentic form. In 2002, Jerry embarked on a new chapter by relocating to Norway, a land renowned for its stunning natural diversity. Norway’s landscapes became a canvas, and Jerry the artist, using light and shadow to paint the breathtaking scenery. From the ocean to the mountain ranges, or other natural wonders, Jerry found endless inspiration in the Scandinavian wonderland.
