Bio:

Jerry Geraldi is a photographer, he hails from Queens, New York. His journey into the world of photography began at the age of 14 when he enrolled in a photography course. At the age of 16, Jerry displayed not only a passion for photography but also a remarkable commitment to his craft by building a darkroom in the cellar of his home. This allowed him to dive deeper into the art of film photography, developing and printing his own work, and honing his skills in a self-made creative space. It was Jerry’s father who recognized his talent and gifted him his first SLR camera, a Fujifilm STX2, marking the beginning of a lifelong love affair with photography. Soon, he started working for a local newspaper, covering community events through his lens. Throughout his life, Jerry remained fascinated by photography, he found solace and inspiration in capturing the world around him through his camera. Some years later Jerry evolved into a seasoned mountaineer, embarking on adventures that took him from Canada to South America. Throughout his travels, the camera remained a steadfast companion, capturing the natural world and the human spirit in its most authentic form. In 2002, Jerry embarked on a new chapter by relocating to Norway, a land renowned for its stunning natural diversity. Norway’s landscapes became a canvas, and Jerry the artist, using light and shadow to paint the breathtaking scenery. From the ocean to the mountain ranges, or other natural wonders, Jerry found endless inspiration in the Scandinavian wonderland. Today, Jerry continues to explore and document the captivating beauty of Norway, sharing his unique perspective with the world. With a deep passion for photography and a portfolio that spans continents and landscapes, Jerry is a storyteller as well as a photographer, a documentarian of life, and a lifelong admirer of the intricate details of a place we should all spend more time in, nature.

Lena Schattenherz Heide-Brennand is a Norwegian lecturer with a master degree in language, culture and literature from the University of Oslo and Linnaeus University. She has been lecturing and teaching various subjects since 1998. Her field of interest and main focus has always been topics that others have considered strange, eccentric and eerie, and she has specialised in a variety of dark subjects linked to folklore, mythology and Victorian traditions and medicine. Her students often point out her thorough knowledge about the subjects she is teaching, in addition to her charismatic appearance. She refers to herself as a performance lecturer and always gives her audience an outstanding experience
